IWPA Assessment Consent

You are about to take the IWPA assessment. It contains 120 items and normally takes approximately 75 minutes.

Your responses will be scored by a fixed, versioned scoring engine. External AI tools may be used to explain already-calculated results in your written profile, but AI does not calculate or change your scores and does not make employment or other consequential decisions about you.

IWPA is not a clinical or medical diagnostic tool. It does not provide a pass or fail result and should not be used as the sole basis for a consequential decision.

If an organization invited you, the assessment screen should identify that organization, why it requested the assessment, and what profile or output it will receive.

You may separately choose whether a pseudonymised research copy of your assessment data may be used for research, benchmarking, norms and aggregated IWPA Population Intelligence. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, access codes and profile links are never included in that research copy. This choice is optional.

The following checkbox must be unchecked by default and must be accepted before the assessment begins:

This acknowledgement is required because the assessment cannot be delivered without processing responses and results.

This choice must be separate from the required assessment acknowledgement and unchecked by default. The consent screen explains it as follows.

You can choose whether IWPA may keep a pseudonymised research copy of your assessment. It never includes your name, email address, phone number, payment details, access code or profile link. If you agree, your de-identified responses and scores may be combined with those of many other participants to contribute to:

• validating and improving the IWPA assessment;
• benchmarking and reference populations;
• norms that future profiles can compare scores against;
• aggregated IWPA Population Intelligence;
• commercial population-level research outputs, which contain group statistics only.

IWPA does not sell participant names, email addresses, individual profiles, identifiable participant records or raw participant rows. Small groups are never reported. Saying no does not affect your assessment, your profile or its price, and you can withdraw later by contacting privacy@iwpa.io.

Not selecting this optional checkbox must not prevent the participant from taking the assessment or receiving the purchased or invited profile.

Research use is limited to the purposes described in the research-consent version the participant was shown. A consent given under an earlier version is never upgraded to cover a purpose that version did not describe.

A participant may later withdraw this optional consent by contacting privacy@iwpa.io. Withdrawal applies to future research processing where required and reasonably possible. It may not be possible to remove an individual's historical contribution from an aggregate that has already been irreversibly anonymized.

Where an organization requested the assessment, the consent screen identifies the requesting organization, the specific purpose of the campaign, exactly what participant profile information or other approved output the organization will receive, and the relevant organization privacy contact or policy where applicable. The assessment does not proceed unless this disclosure is complete.

IWPA may collect:

• contact or invitation information;
• country, gender, employment, role, and education information where requested;
• optional research questions, shown only to participants who agree to research: age band, industry, role level, years of experience, and nationality or citizenship, each with a “Prefer not to say” option;
• responses to 120 assessment items;
• completion and timing information;
• computed scores and occupational-interest ranks;
• response-quality indicators;
• generated profile content;
• technical and security information needed to operate the service.

Background information does not change the participant's score.

Nationality or citizenship is optional, is never inferred from country of residence, and is used only for aggregate research permitted by the participant's research consent.

Scores are computed using fixed rules tied to an assessment and scoring version. AI does not calculate, increase, reduce, or override a score.

External AI service providers may help generate written explanations, summaries, visual specifications, or recommendations from already-calculated results.

Only information reasonably needed for the relevant generation task should be provided. AI does not make an employment, promotion, admission, or similar decision about the participant.

For a direct purchase, the participant receives their profile unless another authorized arrangement is clearly disclosed.

For an organizational assessment, the organization receives only the output disclosed before consent and permitted by the product, campaign permissions, contract, and applicable law.

The organization does not receive unrestricted access to response-level data by default.

IWPA describes work-related tendencies and patterns. It is not a clinical diagnosis, medical assessment, lie detector, or guarantee of performance.

Organizations should combine the profile with relevant human review and other appropriate information.

The platform should record:

• required acknowledgement timestamp;
• required acknowledgement version;
• optional research-consent choice, whether agreed or declined;
• optional research-consent timestamp;
• optional research-consent version, recorded for both agreement and decline;
• organization and campaign disclosure version where applicable.

These records allow IWPA to demonstrate which notice and choices were shown to the participant. A research-consent version is never applied retroactively to records collected under an earlier version.
