For leadership
Leadership
Confidence alone isn't leadership readiness, and empathy alone isn't relationship effectiveness — leadership emerges from how several tendencies interact, which is why a single "leadership score" tends to hide more than it reveals.
Who this is for
Leadership assessors, HR, and talent teams identifying or developing leaders.
What IWPA examines
The relevant part of the Integrated Profile
- Accountability, Confidence, and Applied Judgment
- Self-Control, Empathy, and Relationship Management
- How these six tendencies combine — not a single averaged leadership number
Practical benefits
What this actually gives you

A leadership profile is read in full — confidence and outlook alongside empathy and relationship management — not reduced to one number.
Illustrative example
What this looks like in practice
Confidence that isn't yet matched by relationship skill
A leadership candidate shows high Confidence and a strongly Positive Orientation — the profile that often reads as "natural leader" at a glance. But Empathy and Relationship Management both come in meaningfully lower, a gap a single leadership score would never reveal.
What the profile could surface
- A single composite would very plausibly have averaged this into an unremarkable, uninformative middle score.
- Shown as a full profile, the specific gap — relationship skill, not confidence — becomes visible and coachable.
- Confidence and positive outlook remain real, reportable strengths; the point is completing the picture, not erasing them.
